At the Newsboys concert on July 21, our matching red shirts proclaiming the message of our church caught the eye of Stephen Prudhomme, a reporter for The Spirit newspaper. He decided to come talk to us after the concert and find out more about our group and our church and find out our thoughts on the concert. We were included in his article in the July 26th edition with a quote from Bro. Gary and one of our youth. Bro. Gary told Stephen about our truck driver ministry and invited him to participate in our snack bag giveaway, which he did! And not only did he hang out with us for an hour or so, he wrote a feature article about us for the August 2 edition! We don’t do the things we do for the publicity, but it sure is nice to see good news being shared.Read More
On the morning of Tuesday, July 31, 7 of our kids and 13 of our big kids stood in the back parking lot of our church next to the speed bump by our sanctuary waving at trucks as they went by and flagged them down so we could give them a bag full of goodies, a bottle of water and tell them that we are praying for them and appreciate them. The bag of goodies contained a homemade bbq sandwich, homemade baked goods, a bag of chips, a pack of crackers, a banana, a handmade cross with a special message (made by our Kids’ Club) and one of Bro. Gary’s business cards. The kids made signs and waved them while the adults handed out the bags. What a blessing we received watching faces light up of the hard working men and women who drive by our church all of the time. God is Good!

We had an amazing day at the Port Wentworth Stand Up for America Day festival. We were in the parade and won 1st place in the religious category and had a booth in the park afterwards where we gave out cups of ice water and met lots of new people! If you were around, you surely saw us in our bright red shirts and heard our girls singing the National Anthem on our float! God was good to us and gave us beautiful weather and a great day all around!
Come see us this Saturday, April 28 at the Stand Up for America Day festival in Port Wentworth. We will have a float in the parade with loads of candy and a booth in the park with cold water to give away. We will be the ones in the red shirts at booth E11 right by the secondary stage. Yep, we’re in the back, but we will be worth the visit! If you have been wanting to learn more about us, now is the time to come talk to us one on one! SEE YOU THERE!Read More
